Each year, BILS participates in and sponsors events that bring the Edmonds community together.

Edmonds Halloween Trick-or-Treat Night
Since 2018, Brain Injury Law of Seattle has proudly taken part in Edmonds’ annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Night.

Each year, the BILS team fully embraces a new theme dressing in creative costumes and channeling their “inner kids” to share laughter, hand out candy, and celebrate with the community.

Edmonds Block Party
In 2025, the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce introduced a new community tradition, the Edmonds Block Party. Brain Injury Law of Seattle was proud to sponsor the event in its inaugural year and is excited to continue that support in 2026.

The Block Party brings two days of live music, outstanding local food, and family-friendly activities to Edmonds’ Civic Center Playfield, creating a vibrant gathering place for the community. Brain Injury Law of Seattle believes that getting to know your neighbors and making memories together plays an important role in the overall health and strength of a community.
Sponsoring Local Highschool Athletics
Brain Injury Law of Seattle understands the important role youth sports play in any community.

BILS is a proud sponsor of the Edmonds-Woodway High School Athletics program, making an annual donation that supports purchases such as uniforms and equipment for student-athletes.

By investing in local athletics, BILS helps set our community’s youth up for success while building the confidence, teamwork, and resilience they need to face today’s challenges.

Brain Injury Law of Seattle is proud to support the Edmonds Flower Basket & Corner Park Program.

Brain Injury Law of Seattle is proud to contribute to the care and maintenance of the 5th Avenue and Walnut Street corner. By helping keep Edmonds’ public spaces vibrant and welcoming, BILS contributes to the city’s beauty and fosters a sense of pride and enjoyment for residents and visitors alike.
Financial Contributions

BILS backs its commitment to brain injury awareness with direct financial support for scientific research and legal community programs.

Scientific Community Support
Brain Injury Law of Seattle believes in backing its commitment with action by supporting scientific research and innovation in the field of brain injury. Through financial contributions to organizations such as the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington and the Institute for Systems Biology, BILS helps advance research, improve diagnostic tools, and expand the scientific understanding of brain injuries.

 



Legal Community Support
Brain Injury Law of Seattle also supports initiatives that strengthen the legal community and provide opportunities for professional development. Contributions to programs such as the Washington State Association for Justice Amicus Fund, the Gerry Spence Ranch Club, and Birk for Justice help promote legal advocacy, scholarships, and access to justice for injured individuals and the lawyers who represent them.

BILS actively trains other attorneys in brain injury law — building a broader network of advocates equipped to serve TBI survivors nationwide.
