Officials have not yet shared details about the full extent of the injuries. The lane was temporarily blocked as first responders cleared debris and secured the scene.

    Car Accidents in Washington

Collisions on Washington’s busy roads are an ongoing concern, especially in areas such as Tacoma, where traffic is constant and high speeds are common. Marine View Drive in particular sees frequent crashes due to congestion and aggressive driving behaviors.

These crashes often result in severe injuries. Among the most concerning are brain injuries. The brain is a soft and delicate organ, so even a single impact can have lasting effects.

Some of the most common long-term effects include:

    • Difficulty with memory and concentration
    • Reduced ability to perform daily activities
    • Changes in mood or behavior
    • Persistent headaches or dizziness
    • Trouble with balance and coordination

Unlike external wounds, these injuries are not always visible at first. A person might feel fine immediately after the accident, only to notice problems days or weeks later. This makes early medical evaluation essential, especially when a crash involves a blow to the head.

If you were injured in a car accident in Tacoma, it’s important to speak with a personal injury attorney who has experience handling such cases. With the right legal support, you can protect your rights and secure the resources you need to recover.
