Seattle, WA (November 14, 2025) – Three people suffered injuries in a three-car rollover crash on Thursday, November 13, on westbound Interstate 90 near the southbound Interstate 5 interchange. The crash happened around 2 p.m. and blocked all lanes for several hours.

Washington State Patrol reports that a driver hit the rear of a vehicle, causing it to surge forward and strike a third car. The first vehicle rolled during the impact. Troopers said speed played a role in the collision, while they found no signs of drug or alcohol involvement.

Three occupants inside the vehicle that was initially hit sustained injuries. Medics transported all three to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. All three vehicles involved were heavily damaged.

Troopers cited one man for second-degree negligent driving in connection with the crash. Authorities continue to review evidence and gather additional information as the investigation remains active.

    Car Accidents in Seattle

Car accidents remain a serious issue in Seattle, especially on large highways. Heavy traffic, high speeds, and frequent merging often create conditions where collisions can happen fast. When multiple vehicles crash at highway speeds, the impact can cause serious injuries that require immediate medical care.

Many collisions in the Seattle area involve speeding or distracted driving. Both factors reduce reaction time and increase crash severity. It’s crucial to consult with a personal injury attorney who has experience handling cases involving car accidents in Seattle, as these crashes often lead to medical bills, lost wages, and long-term recovery needs.

Drivers and passengers can also face the risk of traumatic brain injuries after violent impacts. Even a low-speed collision can cause the brain to move inside the skull. That movement can lead to symptoms that appear hours or even days later. Some signs of a traumatic brain injury include headaches, difficulty concentrating, dizziness, or problems with memory.

Because the brain is a soft and very sensitive organ, even minor injuries can have lasting effects on daily life.
