Parkland, WA (October 16, 2025) – A woman died on Wednesday morning, October 15, after a driver fleeing a traffic stop caused a violent collision in Parkland.
The crash happened around 9:25 a.m. near 112th Street and Ainsworth Avenue South. A Pierce County deputy attempted to stop a driver wanted on a warrant, but the suspect sped off. Within seconds, the vehicle ran a red light and slammed into another car crossing the intersection.
