    Car Accidents in Washington

Car accidents in Washington remain a major safety concern, especially in urban centers like Tacoma. With heavy traffic and crowded roadways, collisions often lead to severe injuries that leave victims facing long recoveries and high medical expenses.

The most frequent causes of serious crashes across Washington include:

    • Speeding on busy roads
    • Distracted driving, such as using a phone
    • Failure to yield at intersections
    • Impaired driving involving alcohol or drugs
    • Hazardous weather or reduced visibility

The aftermath of a crash can change a person’s life instantly. Victims often suffer broken bones, spinal injuries, traumatic brain injuries, or internal bleeding.

Traumatic brain injuries are especially concerning. The brain is a soft and delicate organ, which means even a low-speed collision can cause lasting damage. In the first few days after a crash, it’s easy to overlook symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, blurred vision, or memory problems. Since these signs often develop gradually, many victims don’t realize they are suffering from a brain injury until much later.

If you or a loved one sustained injuries in a crash, you may be entitled to compensation for medical bills, lost wages, pain, and the cost of ongoing care. Working with a personal injury attorney who has experience handling car accidents is critical. Strong legal guidance helps victims pursue compensation for medical care, rehabilitation, and the long-term effects of their injuries.
