    Car Accidents in Washington

Car accidents in Washington are a frequent concern, especially in high-traffic areas. Busy shopping and residential zones often create situations where drivers must make quick decisions, increasing the risk of crashes.

Several factors commonly contribute to collisions in the region:

    • Distracted driving – Phone use, eating, or adjusting in-car devices pulls attention away from the road.
    • Speeding – Driving above posted limits reduces the time drivers have to avoid hazards.
    • Failure to yield – Intersections and merging areas are common sites for crashes when drivers ignore right-of-way rules.
    • Impaired driving – Alcohol or drugs remain a significant factor in many serious accidents.
    • Weather conditions – Rain and fog in Western Washington often create slick or low-visibility conditions.

Even when collisions seem minor, injuries such as concussions, whiplash, or back injuries can have long-term effects. Because the brain is a soft and delicate organ, even small impacts may cause lasting traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Symptoms might not appear immediately, but can affect memory, balance, and overall quality of life.

It’s important to work with a personal injury attorney who understands car accidents in Everett and has experience handling complex claims.
