Olympia, WA (December 28, 2025) – A violent head-on crash claimed one life and left another injured on Saturday, December 27, on South Bay Road near 8th Avenue Northeast in Olympia.
The collision happened around 8:25 a.m. when two vehicles traveling in opposite directions struck each other with major force, leaving both with extensive front-end damage. Deputies from the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office and crews from the Olympia and South Bay Fire Departments arrived within minutes and found one occupant unconscious and unresponsive inside a vehicle.
