Kent, WA (October 13, 2025) – A motorcyclist lost his life on Friday, October 10, following a collision on Interstate 5 near State Route 516.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:13 a.m. when a 2012 Harley-Davidson FLTRXS traveling northbound on I-5 collided with a northbound 2008 Honda Fit. The impact ejected the motorcyclist from his bike.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after and confirmed that the rider, a 50-year-old man from Federal Way, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Honda, identified as a 59-year-old Renton resident, was not injured.
Authorities closed the roadway for several hours while investigators examined the crash site and collected evidence. The Washington State Patrol has not released additional details about what led to the collision. The investigation remains ongoing.
