Pierce County, WA (December 22, 2025) – A Washington State Patrol trooper suffered injuries on December 21 after a vehicle struck him while he assisted a disabled motorist in Pierce County. The incident occurred on State Route 512 near Canyon Road.
According to Washington State Patrol officials, the trooper responded to a call involving a disabled vehicle blocking part of the roadway. While working to help clear the scene, a passing vehicle hit the trooper. Emergency medical personnel arrived shortly after the crash and transported him to a hospital for treatment.
